We know it’s a big decision and we want you to feel good about your choice! We have a love for all dogs (but especially for huskies), so for us, this is not a job, but a passion and a privilege to offer some of the best Siberian Huskies you will find anywhere.
Because we have been working on our current breeding program for 12 years, many of our dogs are second and third generation Halo Huskies. Because of this, we not only know just what to expect with health and temperament traits, but we also have firsthand knowledge of the pups produced not only by the mom and dad, but also by the grandparents on both sides.
Our huskies have some of the more unique coats and eye colors paired with a temperament that is second to none. We are very blessed and proud of that!
Our puppies are started on Royal Canin Puppy Formula, the very best available to meet their nutritional needs, are treated for parasites at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks old, given their first shots, and go home with a two year genetic health guarantee after a thorough health check from a licensed vet. Puppies and adults are treated for parasites on a monthly schedule and all are on a year long flea and tick prevention.
- Our puppies are kept in the year-long climate controlled nursery. All of our dogs are kept in large, covered kennels with cement flooring for proper cleaning. We clean with professional cleaning products that are made specifically for kennel care. (KennelSol, Rescue Disinfectant).

How Halo Huskies Began
(As told by the owner, Tim)
“When I was 8 years old, my mom walked me down the street to a yard we had never been to and told me to sit down in the grass. She went to the door of the homeowner, when it opened, out came 7 black, 6-week-old poodle puppies! They came running out towards me and ready to meet me! At that moment, a passion for dogs was sparked in me that has lasted a lifetime.
Now, jump forward 45 years… I raised Dobermans for 10 years and Boxers for about 15 years. So, I know a lot about raising dogs.
Our First Husky
Years later, I was now married and had a family. We wanted a good family dog. So, I got my daughter her first husky for her 16th birthday, and that is when the magic happened! From that time many years ago, until today (2024) I still think Huskies are the most amazing animals to bond with! I also enjoy watching their humans bond with them too. It is simply amazing!
Our first Husky, Nova, led me to start hand-picking my pack to start our kennel for Huskies. These dogs are my God-given passion!
Halo Huskies have Unique Eye Color and Temperaments
I have a flair for choosing “unique” hair and eye color in dogs. Just take a look at some of the our dogs over the years, and look at their eye coloring and coat. I have picked and raised some very impressive dogs that have done incredible things over the last 10 years. (My huskies have been in the movies!) I have also worked with other reputable kennels to find and breed very particular Huskies (all a blessing to me).
Halo Huskies will Continue for Many Years!
I may soon retire from breeding Huskies, as father time dictates that this next generation will be my last. However, the name and breed will carry on. We have 12 of our 14 original dogs (retirees) that are still here with us, now!
Plus, there are 9 dogs over the age of 9, and 3 dogs nearing 12 years old. Once I retire, there will be some very hard goodbyes, but the up-and-coming generation of dogs were all hand-picked by me. They are all second or third-generation Halo Huskies.
Halo Huskies are now Three Generations of Well-Bred, Healthy Huskies!
All 4 grandparents were born right here with me watching over them, so I know the health and temperament of every single puppy for 3 generations of the bloodline. It was my goal to provide the spark that leads to a never-ending passion for these dogs!
If you are new to the breed and have done your research, you will understand that huskies can be challenging at times (like any puppy will), but I feel sure that we have the perfect puppy to start that lifelong connection!
